The purpose of the church is outreach. This one is an interesting one. What does it mean to do something "outreach"? Is it preaching to the choir? I would think that there would be outreach to those who are not interested in religion. And, if you mean evangelism, then I suppose the purpose of the church is evangelism, but if you mean reaching out to those who are already interested in religion, then what about those who are not, yet believe in God? I guess this could also be about reaching people who are isolated and lonely.
